GRADUATION RECITAL *TIME CHANGE*

The completion of Matthew's doctoral study at University of Southern California is slated for May 5th, at 2:00pm, with a grand musical presentation set to captivate and enchant. Krell has meticulously selected a program that showcases monumental works of the fantasy genre, featuring Mozart's dramatic Fantasy in D minor, Beethoven's famous "Moonlight" Sonata quasi una Fantasia, Liszt's towering "Dante" Fantasia quasi Sonata, Chopin's dazzling Fantaisie in F minor, the wildly virtuosic Oriental Fantasy by Mily Balakirev, and more!

This concert is a testament to Matthew’s dedication and passion for music, reflecting years of rigorous study and practice. It represents not only the pinnacle of his academic journey but also a personal voyage through the rich landscapes of musical fantasy. In the spirit of compositional freedom that the fantasy genre entails, expect improvised links between the pieces as well as inventive departures from the written score.

In addition to the live performance at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church, a global audience can join in through a live stream on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/matthew.krell. This digital experience will make the event accessible to music or Matthew lovers everywhere.
