Matthew will be heading to New York City September 25 for a gala performance at Weill Recital Hall. The concert will feature winners of the 2021 PianoHouse International Competition, in which he was awarded first place in the Jazz category and second place in the Franz Liszt category. Matthew will be presenting his original composition Improvisation after Paganini which he premiered at the Brevard Piano Competition this past August, bringing down the house and taking home the second-place prize of $2,000. The concert is slated for 2pm.
